My name is Ismael, but my friends usually call me Isma. I'm a photographer and graphic designer based in Mexico City. My career as a graphic designer led me to sports and adventure photography, moving me from the desk (designing brand identities and websites) to the heights (hanging on a rope with the camera, literally).

Nowadays, I'm an experienced photographer in different fields, understanding movement, light and scale, as well as their power in an image to influence a call to action. These attributes are present in my action, portrait, architecture, and commercial photographs developed by me, mixing them with the knowledge of studio photography.

As a passionate person for stories, my desire to create images with powerful messages is an incessant chase of new ways to innovate and connect with different people, cultures, sports and landscapes.
